A great son of Baba, Dada Tadbhavanandaji passed away in Apollo Hospital Delhi at 3.30 pm today. He was been in coma since last two days. His condition deteriorated this morning. Ever since he was detected to be suffering from cancer early this year, chemo was administered. But his condition was already very advanced and he did not respond different regimes of chemo that was administered. He was under the supervision of Dr. Advani the leading oncologists of India. After his release from jail he was given the best possible treatment under the care Dr. Advani. The fact that he was not responding to the treatment was cause great worry to all. One month ago he was admitted to Apollo Hospital. Despite every effort his condition kept deteriorating.
From Brother Karmeshvar:
Dada Tadbhavananda Ji’s presence in my life is a gift, and I owe him so much. He was my Ácárya, a fact I am deeply honored by; he rarely initiated others due to his position, which highlights the good fortune I had. Without him, I would not be here today, alive and part of Ananda Marga. He was such a shining and inspiring personality – social justice incarnate, I could even say. Dada Tadbhavananda Ji and Dada Krtashivananda Ji are the two greatest people I have had the fortune to meet and work alongside.
Dada Tadbhavananda Ji was the main driving force behind so many projects, including the Master Unit in Denmark, home to the annual Global PROUT conference. In fact, he was the very founder of the Global PROUT Convention itself. As an LFT working there at the time, I saw firsthand how his unyielding dedication, inspiration, and strength brought this Master Unit into existence – even in the face of opposition from within. Without his presence, this Master Unit would not stand today. He is the sole reason why it exists!
Acharya Tadbhavananda Avt. The beloved son of Baba has left for the heavenly abode into baba's lap. One of the purest soul and strongest pillar of anandmarga is no more physically with us.But he is present with us in spirit. Can death destroy the spirit of such a great human being like him? No it cannot. He is with us, his spirit is alive and he is immortal.
ReplyDeleteRecently he came to see me at our Ranchi residence. He was with me for a couple of hours and shared his dream with me. A saintly soul a man who was determined to realize his dream and do you know what his dream was so selfless so full of sacrifice for his mission, that was to see a united Anandmarga. This was his only cherished dream to lead the mission of Baba to the acme and zenith of success, to unite his people who were falling apart.
Baba has rightly said The mission of human life is to move towards perfection, towards God. This is ones duty. In this struggle the forces of evil are bound to be defeated. This has been the case all along and history will repeat itself.
Now its our turn to put our right foot forward and unite anandmarga. So all Margis and W.T.worker lets stand together to fulfill the dream which Baba had laid and lets follow the path which Baba has shown.Lets rebuild a purer a fruitful and a more meaningful Anandmarga.
It was sad to hear the news that another beloved son of Baba, Dada Devashraddhananda Is no more physically with us.
regards
Dr. P.D.Singh
Namaskar.
ReplyDeleteOur dear brother Tadbhavanandaji has passed away leaving behind an irreparable loss.
I know Tadbhavanandaji since he became a wholetimer of Baba . Baba had first kept him under my care when he was with me as a trainee.I was at that time living in C 18 , South Extension Part I , Delhi. There were about a dozen trainees with me those days.
During this period ( when Tadbhavanandaji was staying with me as my trainee ), Baba visited Delhi. We had rented a flat for Baba's stay which was a minute's walk from the flat of Mangal Bihariji, IAS in the South Extension Part II. Mangal Bihariji was a senior officer in the Government of India and a good Margii.
Whenever I met Baba then, He used to ask me without exception--'' How is my Tusharkanti ?'' This he enquired every time I met Him. The unusual thing in this respect was that Baba didn't refer to any other trainee although there were about a dozen of them staying with me those days.( Tadbhavanandaji was then known as Tusharkanti. )
I replied --" Baba, He always sings only one song. '' Tere Carno Me Sadguru , Arpan Hai Jindgi Meri // Tu Hi Mera Mata Pita , Tu Hi Meri Jindgi.//--O Sadguru, I dedicate my life at your lotus feet. You are my parents and you are verily my life. )
Baba's response to my reply was a very very sweet smile. It is an evidence that only Baba was in Tusharkanti's thoughts and therefore Tusharkanti alone was in Baba's thoughts when He talked with me about the training of the trainees.
During those days when Tadbhavanandaji was staying with me as a trainee , my PU office was passing through serious financial crisis . Almost daily I used to take with me all the trainees in the nearby villages and beg alms for our Ashram. Tadbhavanandaji was a non -omittable companion in this alm's collection exercise. I asked him -- Does he feel uncomfortable while begging alms? He replied in a verse-- Are Kaun Sahata hai Bijli Ki Dhamkian, Ashian Khud Jala Diya hai Maine-- Lo ! Who cares for the fury of the lightning . I have destroyed my habitat with my own hands)
I always found that he had truly dedicated his life to the Lord and thus no complex of worldly life could ever had better of him. He always thought how best to please the Lord ( i. e. Baba ) and all other considerations never weighed heavily on him.In his thoughts, and actions, Lord genuinely came prior to the world.
Once I addressed him as Dada Tadbhavanandaji, he became angry and told me to address him only as Tadbhavananda , and then he started reminisceing of those older times of his trainee days with me.
When he was sick here in Delhi suffering from the deadly cancer, he used to tell me-- My body is sick , not my mind. Body is affected by the disease not the mind, and therefore I will continue to work with the same spirit as before . He used to roar like a lion in the Margiis' meeting here disregrding our advice to keep restraint due to health reasons as advised by the doctors. But he never cared and always repeated Baba's words-- ''Also work while dying.''He literally lived these words.
I did not find an iota of sign of affect on his bubbling spirit and desire to remain always active for His mission despite physical weakness.I did not find any fear of death in him in the face of the most agonising sufferings of the disease.
Once he told me--I am feeling zero energy level. Then I told him that he was therefore surviving on 100 per cent Baba's energy. And then we exchanged smiles.
Tadbhavanandaji's loss is not easy to fulfil.Such souls do not take birth every now and then.He was inimitable and incomparable in many respects. It is a grave loss to the humanity as large.
Brave and Loving Tadbhavanandaji will always be remembered as an exemplary Proutist and a tireless fighter for the suffering humanity.
In Him,
Santosananda
Dada Tadbhavananda was truly a towering personality. For those of us who knew him even for a short period, his elevating expressions brought us closer to the supreme.
ReplyDeleteWhile visiting him in Copenhagen with all our family in 1991, he conveyed the essence and real value of painca janya that inspired us deeply. At the last June 1990 DMC in Ananda Nagar when Baba had to everyone's surprise not given the mudra we had no idea what was about to happen. It was like living through the Maha Bharata.
While many departed the next day, we remained and scurried up to the
pandal as we heard screams of "Baba" "Baba". There, as we sat in the back of the tent amongst the local Margiis (for the first time we did not sit front and center) Baba so sweetly gave Dharshan and gave us all a blessing that vibrated to the core of our beings. His Mudra, although scantly seen from the distance, was more powerful then I have ever experienced ----little did we know that Krsna was sending us into
battle and that He was telling us in no uncertain terms to MOVE AHEAD
WITHOUT FEAR....at that very moment our brothers were being attacked
at the nearby train station and this was HIS call to arms. Who better to deliver that message than Dada Tadbhavananda...he along with Dada Manteshvaranda; with all their passion and courage stood in Baba's
place and imparted the message of action to be taken. As westerners,
we were encouraged to remain in the compound and prepare ourselves for
a night of fury.
It was in this spirit, as Baba's valient general, that I hold dear the memories of my beloved elder, Dada Tadbhavananda. That and also the amazing and most unique and memorable way he gave homage to my loving wife in Copenhagen when he would call her name with so much deep love and affection as though he was singing the Praise of the Lord with a loud burst of elongated air...........I can hear it to this
day.......GO........MATI............GO..........MATI............A
great soul....no doubt on Baba's lap.
If, by His Grace, we are blessed to meet again, I look forward to
coming close to one such as you.
All our love and heart felt deepest wishes to you on your mysterious
journey to your Supreme Goal: Victory is surely Yours!
Valmiki and Gomati and family.
