Sister Miirabhai was initiated in 1973 by Dada Adveshanandajii. She trained and worked as LFT. In 1974 she had a spiritual marriage to Brother Surendra, and they were blessed with four beautiful kids: Trilokanath, Jiivendra, Gayatrii and Tripti. They have been very active Margiis since the beginning. They worked for Saffron Trading and ran an Ananda Marga kindergarten in San Juan, Manila. They were active Proutists and also did a lot of volunteer work for AMURT. Bro. Surendra manages garments cooperatives and served as Ananda Marga president in 2007.
The great Ananda Parivara (Blissfull Family) of Ananda Marga in Maharlika knew her as "Mommy", a very loving, caring and compassionate devotee of Baba. She was a loving mother to all.
She struggled with kidney failure and then died of cardiac arrest at the age of 56. She is in Baba's lap now.
Her remains are kept for viewing at Mt. Carmel Church. The cremation will be on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, 2:00 p.m. at Arlington Memorial, Manila. Should you wish to extend your condolences to the family, you may reach them by calling Trilokanath at +63-917-850-2121,

Message: I feel very sad when I heard the passing of sister Mirabhai she is one of our most loving mother and a devoted margii. I remembered when I was still an LFT then and visiting them she cooked me always my favorite dished ¨sinigang sa sampaloc¨(tamarind soup).Her spirit will always remained and remembered.
ReplyDeleteMirabhai was really and truly a mother. When I was SOS Manila from 2000-2003 I always felt so welcome and loved in her home while enjoying her devotedly prepared meals. Her gentle, humble, sacrificing and sweet nature resonated with me and so many others.
