Acarya Ramananda Avadhuta (74 Years) passed away on Sunday
night June 19, 2016 about 1:22 Am (India-time).
Acarya Ramananda Avadhuta was ardent devotee of Rev.
Baba and senior most Purodha of Ananda Marga.
Ramanandajii worked in different positions - the most remarkable being PA to Baba for long 13 years.
His name is synonymous with Amurt. He was working for relief since beginning and most of his life he was intimately connected with relief activities through Amurt. He was working as Central AMURT Secretary of Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha since beginning.
He was Baba's PA in difficult years -when Baba was in jail. Baba was fasting from 1st April 1973 till 2nd August 1978. Ramanandajii tried his best to serve and please his Guru.
He traveled with Baba when He went on world tour. He also drove Him in 1984, when Baba traveled several parts of India by road.
I remember Dada Ramananda from Baba's visit to Fiesch and to Stockholm. One could say that he was a lesson in humilty, warmth, service and joy. Indeed a lot of this comes across in his book, "Ashutosh Baba". I am so grateful that I met him, Suparna Kidd
