Acharya Kesavananda Avadhuta ji left his mortal body in Kolkata, India on 5th January 2021. He was very soft-spoken, a person of sweet behaviour and very caring. He became a Wholetimer in 1966. After the the DMC in Darbhanga, he was on the train platform with many others to see Baba off. To his surprise, Baba called him to come near, and told him to come to Jamalpur to visit Him when he had free time. Without wasting any time, he chose to go straight to Jamalpur on the same train. He met Baba later in the day in the ashram. Baba was delighted and said, "Oh, you came so soon?" The he took the decision to become a dedicated monk and worker of Ananda Marga.
His first posting was Diocese Secretary Surat. Later he worked as Regional Secretary Mumbai. The love and respect he commanded was rare. He also worked in South India, Vidarbha and several other places. Then he came to centre and worked in close proximity of Baba for 28 years as Central ERAWS Secretary and other central posts. He served as a Personal Assistant to Baba from 1985 until 1990. His book REMINISCENCES OF BABA is very popular and includes many beautiful stories.

When I was visiting Baba I wanted to massage HIM but was not allowed. SO I taught Dada Keshavanandaji, as Babas PA, what I knew about massage to do on Baba. In this way I got to know Dada and appreciate very much.
