Dada Dhruvananda

Dada Dhruvananda was one of the first Wholetimer workers who dedicated their lives in service to Baba's Mission. He was full of simplicity, morality, and devotion. He was a very dedicated sadhaka and worker, even though he suffered from serious health problems his whole life. He worked many years as the Diocese Secretary in Jamalpur, Baba's birthplace, and then in 1979 became the trainer in the Sweden Training Center. There he arranged the purchase of the main building. In 1998 he was transferred to Central Office, and in 2000 became General Secretary. He worked in India the rest of his life. He was a good homeopath, and took care of all visitors, always inspiring with his wonderful satsaunga.

Among Dada's several publications the book "Baba Loves All" stands out. It is one of the best collections of Baba stories from a single author. Dada captured the times, events and dialogues of the very early years at Jamalpur with an intimate, soulful and careful tone. With his pregnant, brief style, the significant level of poetic beauty, and spiritual transcendence Dada has given us a really great story book where he managed to convey the simplicity of the early devotees and their society, how they mixed with and loved their Lord and He them.

Dada Dhruvananda passed away today 7pm in the Seva Sadan Hospital in Ranchi.

Dada Dhruvanandaji has been my Shraman in Sweden TC at the time of Baba's Mahaprayana and for that guidance and care also I feel a deep sense of gratitude. His simple, sincere and straightforward nature along with his LOVE for Baba, his dedication and organizational zeal had a very deep impact of my life and on those of trainees in general.

Through his innate qualities but above all trough his exemplary conduct and behavior he has managed to forge the hearts and minds of many and inspired them into Surrendering to the Mission of Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji

A great example as a sadhaka and a pillar of Dharma, I humbly pay my respect to you Dear and Respected Dada Dhruvanandaji.

It is with deepest grief we hear the sad, sad news.

Dada was an exemplary Acharya, with whom one would feel safe and in good hands as a sister and brother alike. He was always caring and full of sweetness, at the same time he had real integrity and personality and he was often humorous, even jolly despite his mysterious neck pain.

He has guided me on many occasions and when He agreed to perform my wedding ceremony and also later my first daughter's naming ceremony we were overjoyed. He was always so polite and even when everything was storming he would be available to all of us.

I remember one time when we were travelling together on the train. Everyone was sleeping but he was meditating almost throughout the entire night.
We feel a terrible loss of this Good man. In our family we used to say to eachother that we feel him like one of our grandfathers.

Thank You endlessly for everything, dearest Dada.
