He had two Masters's Degrees and two MED education degrees and was the headmaster of a high school in Vidarbha when he was initiated. He dedicated himself as a worker for Baba's Mission in 1962, and became an avadhuta in 1963 at Jabalpur DMC. During his 59 years of service to the Mission, he worked in many places. He is still remembered by the people of Kerala for his inspiring behavior when he was posted there. At Mumbai he established a printing press and regularly published a Prout newspaper for Maharashtra. He initiated several Margiis including SS Goenka, Prabhakar Sandhu, and their family members. He was posted as principal in the Ananda Marga Anandapur High School and worked as vice principal at Ananda Nagar College. He was in charge of the cheap hostel at Ananda Nagar. He translated many books of Baba into Marathi and printed those books. He was one of the workers who started Shravanii Purnima programs in Vidarbha. He helped to build the ashram in Mumbai.
He was very much concerned for the unity of Ananda Marga and often expressed the pain he felt about that. He worked very hard until his last breath.
He passed away from a heart attack at the age of 86 on May 9, 2021.
