Ac Karunananda Avt passed away at 7.30pm at Raniganj hospital, Bihar, while he was being escorted from Araria to Patna in an ambulance. He was 78 years old. He suffered brain hemorrhage in the morning at Araria, Bihar. He served as Sectorial Secretary of Berlin sector from 1971 through Baba'S visit to Europe in 1979. He did maximum pracar and created many Margiis during those years, and he trained well the regional secretaries that he supervised. He told the workers, "Your greatest tool is your address book of both Margiis and sympathizers."
Later he served as SS of Georgetown and Hong Kong Sectors, and for the last decades of his life he worked in Delhi Sector. He was a senior WT. Recently he gave the DMS pravachan as a representative of Marga Guru in Raipur from 13th to 15th October, 2022. He was a great devotee of Baba.
Dada Karunanada was the greatest human being I ever met. I miss him daily and bless his everlasting memory!! He showed us all how to love Baba and made an indelible impression in our hearts. Thank you, dada!!!!
ReplyDeleteIn the seventies a german journalist called Reimar Lenz did a report and interviews about sects...for the book Meditation wager Zum Selbst, Mosaik Verlag....and finally he wrote the autobiography of Karunanda: LENZ, REIMAR, Misionar für Ananda Marga, Lutherische Monatsfte, Lutherische Monatshefte, Märtz, 1973. He said in the reports "the philosophy of AM is so complex that it can be explained here " (like the other sects)
ReplyDeleteI was very close to Dada as dearest brotherhood when he was in Taiwan in 90's. He's full of energy and passion for Baba's mission and society. He created lots of jagritis and matgiis in Taiwan. He always listened carefully to margiis and gave proper solutions from his warmhearted heart. He called me on 18 Nov. 2022 at 19:06 but it was a missed call. He's die hard devotee of Baba and a praca god.
