Our senior Didi, Avadhutika Ananda Somshekhar Acharya, age 59, passed away on October 15, 2023, at 6:33 p.m. She was a very hardworking and uncompromising adherent to the ideology of the Ananda Marga Prachar Sangha. She had been ill for almost the past 10 years. She suffered from bone tuberculosis and several other health complications. She breathed her last at Supreme Hospital in Delhi, where she had been undergoing treatment for the past three years.
She became an 'Acharya' in the organization in 1999. Before becoming a WT, she served the Mission as a LFT before Baba. Her first posting was as DSL Bhagalpur, then she started her own Ananda Marga School in Amethi, Rajasthan, and worked there successfully. Her last posting was as DSL Ayodhya, where she re-started the Ananda Marga School and ran a healthy institution. She worked very hard and eventually fell ill. She is no longer with us today. This is an irreparable loss for the organization.
We have lost an ideal daughter of our beloved Baba. Her dedication to the duties of the organization will always be remembered. On behalf of the Ananda Marg Pracharak Sangh, we offer our heartfelt condolences to the departed soul and pray to Almighty Baba to grant peace to her soul.
