It came as a shock to learn about Acarya Viireshvarananda Avadhuta's unexpected and tragic passing (84). He had a position of prominence within the Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha as an Avadhuta. He held a number of positions within the organisation that were quite significant. He exemplified what it meant to be a loyal and devoted Cadre of the organisation. Due to the authenticity of his approach, he will be remembered forever as a profoundly devout spirit.
Due to the severity of his condition, he had been hospitalised in the Leser and Leptoscopic Hospital in Chennai for the past 15 days.
Even though he was not in very good health in the days leading up to his passing, he nonetheless gave every ounce of his time and energy to the work that needed to be done for the mission.
He was a devoted son of our most beloved Baba. We pray our almighty Baba to take his soul in His lap.

Namaskar, It's really a very Sad News to me. He used to love me a lot. He used to meet me in Himmatnagar early during 1979 and met him other places several times. He was an earnest Devotee of Baba indeed. My deep respect and salutations to him. May his departed Soul be merged on Baba's Divine Lap forever and be liberated. Om' Sha'ntih.
