With deep pain and heavy heart I hereby inform you that our Respected brother Ac. Vivekananda Avadhuta, the lifetime Principal of Anandanagar High school(since 1970), left us at about 3pm today, the 1st May 2023. He was 85.
He was admitted in a Purulia nursing home three days before for serious digestion issues, where he breathed his last.
A very knowledgeable person, Dada Vivekanandaji was free from any controversy, sweet in dealing and a silent worker of his Guru.
He did his M.A. (Economics) and B. Ed. and was working as teacher in a reputed High school. Ac. Nityasatyananda Avt. inspired him to join Baba's mission
I joined him as Anandanagar colleague in July 1981. But I knew him from Sigra, Varanasi training center. (The day he completed his training in Feb 1970, I entered.)
His mortal remains are being brought to Anandanagar. He will be cremated at Anandanagar Crematorium May 2 at 9 am.
The demise of Vivekanandaji is my personal loss. I used to consult him, whenever I had any doubt. May Baba take him in His divine lap.
