Namaskar, I'm extremely sad to inform that one of our most senior Baba's Devotee, Papa Shankara, has left his mortal frame in Accra, Ghana today (25.05.2026 ). Well known as Hon. V.B. Freeman, he was the Honorable President of the Headmasters Association of Ghana, as well as Retired Headmaster of Ebeneza High School and also Headmaster of Accra Academy. He was Bhukti Pradhan of Accra and President of Ananda Marga Praca'raka Sam'gha in Ghana. His devotion and commitment towards Baba and His Mission remained unparalleled till his last moment. He used to remind every Margii to be strict to follow the principles of Yama and Niyama and to follow the 16 points sincerely in order to understand the greatness of Gurudeva Shrii Shrii Anandamu'rtijii and His noble Mission. Papa Shankara was so jolly, loving, and respectful to everyone. Last year he was meditating with me and he cried for Baba. He remembered well all his Sadhana lessons which he explained thoroughly to me during a lesson review session.
